Pros

You have a great opportunity to travel at a young age. They do pay well and the company is growing.

Cons

Where to start... Very unorganized, not much seniority coupled with experience within management. Out of the 10 AE's I went to orientation with, there are 6 left after 6 months. The company is going through hyper growth.

Pros

Getting a job at Darktrace is really easy, they’re looking for young people who are hungry for success. Though, it is important that the candidate does not have much previous experience in the job market as this would make the brainwash a much harder task for them. Travel - you get to book your own flights and hotels. You can choose luxury hotels if they’re under the £ 250 per night cap.

Cons

Your success will largely depend on your target region, while Darktrace is popular in English speaking countries you’ll work much harder with less results in other countries. You’ll also have the same targets as everyone else while not having any access to resources like foreign speaking marketing material or legal help negotiating contracts. Your management at first is a Team Leader who was placed in this position for performing well at their Sales Job. Unfortunately, these managers don’t have any proper training to actually perform the position and often lack skills needed to motivate a team. In all fairness inspiring your staff to produce isn’t something Darktrace has ever been good at, so who am I to expect for newly appointed managers to do anything differently. Though I wished the managers would be more mature and professional. Darktrace has always worked with psychological mind games, like installing fear in staff by firing people without giving them a prior warning. If needed, they will also flat out lie to you to get a reaction out of you. Your colleagues in other departments are massively underpaid and it shows in overall morale.

Pros

-Working for a World Leading company in its field. -Room for growth and great opportunity to gain lots of hands on experience you wouldn’t get in many other places. You may find yourself directly involved in building new processes due to company’s growth speed. -you get to work with some amazing people - often top in their field. Most people are young so it’s a really vibrant environment. - No micromanagement in most of departments - Subsidiesed payday bar!

Cons

- There are specific very few departments that lack this modern management approach that most of DT applies
