Pros

The non management people who work here so incredible, its just sad to see how they are treated.

Cons

Darktrace only hires students who are right out of ivy league schools and exploits them. They are over worked with no benefits.

Pros

Free food on Fridays, BUPA healthcare. Used to have a great team, but most now have left.

Cons

Management is terrible, micromanagement to an extreme including counting bathroom breaks, coffee breaks, time taken for lunch. If you are late back from lunch or break an email will go round to the entire department reminding them to be back at their desks at the necessary time. Calls and emails monitored to ensure to ensure you make enough. Talk between colleagues was monitored to ensure not too much time was spent chatting. No team spirit, a hostile atmosphere of first over the line wins is actively promoted, regardless of how many people they step on to get there. Time is as inflexible as it gets, you must take lunch at a designated time and for a designated duration. If you have a doctor’s appointment in the morning you need to take a half day holiday, even if you will only miss half an hour. Management consistently miss out praising and rewarding the hard workers and fail to spot members of the team who make up all their figures. There are very few social events and no interaction with other departments.

Pros

Within a year or two, employees can be promoted multiple times and given more responsibility that could routinely take 5-10 years for more traditional sales organizations. Executives will extend themselves to assist when asked. Opportunity to work with C-Suites on larger deals regardless of tenure Ability to contribute straightaway

Cons

A con or a pro depending on how you look at it: You are expected to continually perform at your best level without room for excuses. Scaled back on snacks at the office to fruit and lunch on Friday.
