Pros

-Some people are nice, but like everywhere else.

Cons

- Despite being significantly underpaid compared to industry standards, the company paradoxically allocates substantial funds to maintain an extravagant but often sparsely populated office. The stark contrast is evident, particularly when the company opts for a lavish Christmas party at the natural history museum while its staff grapples with inadequate compensation. - Beware of lofty promises of "huge opportunities" as the set targets are often unattainable. The commission plan undergoes frequent changes, leaving employees uncertain about the rewards they signed up for. The illusion of financial gain is further shattered by the reality of minimal commissions, particularly considering the emphasis on upselling. - Prepare for an environment characterised by excessive micromanagement from managers with limited professional experience. Segment directors, often in their mid-twenties, obtained their roles when the department was in its infancy a few years ago. Expect constant scrutiny, as meetings are monitored akin to a school setting, necessitating explanations for every client interaction. - The work culture places a heavy emphasis on competitiveness, with a focus on upsells dictating success. However, the meagre commission on these upsells diminishes potential earnings. Regular assessments of team status and message reviews contribute to a pervasive atmosphere of judgement and pressure. - The company's approach to annual leave is restrictive, allowing only 24 days and prohibiting leave during the last month of each quarter. Employees are compelled to use annual leave during the last week of December, irrespective of personal plans or willingness to work during the holidays. - Training sessions are arduous, marked by attempts to humiliate participants with random questions and mandatory camera use. The training director's inappropriate comments, such as advising women to wear makeup during meetings, further contribute to a discomforting learning environment. - Instances of backstabbing are prevalent, with reprimands delivered publicly to showcase managerial superiority. The company's demographics skew towards middle-class white employees, contributing to a lack of diversity within the organisation.
