Cons

Where to start, from a high performing SDR please read this account carefully. Factual information to be aware of - - 6 monthly commission changes which were based on false data. Then commission changes got worse and worse over the few years I’d been there. It’s capped. - I’ve since found out SDRs are getting paid 10 K more on the base and people who have been there for one year plus, with no experience to justify this. Ask for very high 30s Other information to be aware of- - Management had no training before entering the role, they were heavy on admin and didn’t know how to motivate sales team. - Feedback was disregarded. The team faced the issues of dried up accounts despite months on end of ignored insight to this happening. - The deal numbers were fabricated for upper management to display high earnings. - Progression to AE was unappealing, the position was less respected than the SDR role with hard work not being rewarded. - Very negative working environment, praise is non-existent or irrelevant. - Don’t want authenticity, it’s all about how well you can read a “ one size fits all” script -same as above but with emails - Zero trust between management and SDR’s, the feedback is usually along the lines of “ just get on with it” -management were lost on deciding on quality or quantity or vice versa. -management refused to push back against upper management when the decision decisions are clearly going to negatively affect the department. - 7 SDR’s had left over 2 months. I’ve heard more have left since. I’ve been in my new role a few months now and I can honestly say they are far far better teams out there, less micro management, better base salary, uncapped commission, upper management who listen to feedback.
