Leadership is non-existent.
Organization is reactive, not proactive.
Staff are not respected or considered in any decisions.
Blatant discrimination as evidenced by old practices, outdated systems, and archaic policies - all when brought to the attention of leadership swept under the rug with the decision to "settle" lawsuits, claims, or investigations instead of rectifying issue.
Smoke & mirrors - will obscure and embellish the truth to hide what is really happening "behind the scenes" such as their staff compensation program which is unethical and creates inequities across the institution (STAFF SHOULD CONSIDER UNIONIZING)
No strategic vision or plan for the College so every division/dept runs around working in silo reacting to whatever crisis is happening in that moment, and typically without the resources they need to handle it, as Dartmouth likes to pretend they are broke as well.
Nothing is measured therefore there is no accountability on anyone for anything ever, which I suppose could be a good thing if you just want to collect a paycheck!
