Pros

Mediocre benefits. Decent pay if you can get into one of the back end positions.

Cons

When severe cold was forecast for our area they moved our schedule around. 1st shift was give preferential treatment (as always) so that they could avoid it. 2nd shift hours were changed so that we would be dealing with the worst of it. Putting our lives at risk. When we questioned this we were essentially told that they didn't care about how this would effect any of us.

Pros

It's a full time entry level job that most people can do. The included benefits are okay but take A LOT away from your take home pay.

Cons

PTO is almost impossible to use around the weekends due to the limit of employees allowed off in each department. Some people put in for every Fri and Mon off they can a year in advance ruining it for others that may actually end up needing those days. Overtime is often forced and half the time ends up being completely unnecessary. Considering the repetitive nature of this work anything over 8 hours a day is too much from both a physical and mental standpoint. All levels of management are unresponsive to employee concerns and suggestions. HR is basically only there to give people the run around.

Pros

Paid holidays are nice. Most employees and supervisors are awesome. You do get 2 weeks of vacation time after a year.

Cons

You don't have a life. You are told when you start you might work overtime every once in a while. Wrong! You will be working 10 hours days. Plus Saturday's. And they don't tell you about overtime until the end of the shift. So you think your done but nope. You have 2 hours left. The upper management is a huge joke! They like to make promises to you to get you to work harder and then fail to make them promises happen. Have an issue with your check? No one in the building can help you. They hand you a card and tell you to email payroll who then take a week to respond and then tell you nothing is wrong. Piece rate employees are screwed over. You get reports showing your doing above what is expected and yet not getting any piece rate for it. But yet again because everyone is useless at data you have to email payroll again just for them to tell you your pay is correct. Their system is so messed up. They don't care about you. Whether you have a life or family. Bonuses? Data dimensions don't believe in rewarding their employees. They sit there and push 10 hours, Saturday's and all this work on you but don't reward you what so ever. You know what your bonus is? A $50 gift card for Christmas and at their holiday party you get a $25 gift card! This place is the laughing stock of janesville. They wonder why they can't keep or get people to work there.
