An okay company/job.

Pros

ability to make more than base pay (through piece rate, which can be good or bad), paid holidays, solid overtime pay, 5 minute stretch breaks (super important/helpful)

Cons

Awful work/life balance, issues with company growing pains, awful communication company-wide, mandatory Saturdays (tacked onto an already constant 90 hour work period), little to no sick days (6 is really not enough for a whole year/can be frustrating)

Pros

The insurance is very good, there is no dress code, there is a food kiosk in the break room, they offer private Locker storage for your items

Cons

I could go on for years about the cons of working at this place. First and foremost the conditions in side the room that you will be working in are terrible. There is a constant amount of people who don't know proper hygiene so because the room is completely enclosed, there's a 90% chance you will be getting some kind of cold or sickness. Because the turnover rate is so high, and I mean at least one person quitting a week high, there's a constant influx of people who are not properly trained but just throw it in there because they need a body to do work, waiting too many miscommunication errors down the line of command. Not to mention the people that have been there longer have to fix those mistakes, taking away from their own time to do their own work. There is a huge divide between upper management and the normal employees. You will have upper management telling you how hard they will try to work to make things a lot more livable and doable, but in reality it almost never follows through. This past August the very last week was mandatory overtime plus a mandatory Saturday, and they also offered to you the option of working on Sunday. This was announced the week that that started. So as you can see, they offer little to no timeframe on when you need to be working overtime. Let's not forget the fact that we are constantly put to a very very high goal that is almost unachievable every single month, and because we are behind on that goal, overtime is a constant. Throughout the whole time that I worked there, I only worked a normal 8-hour shift for one month. There's very little room for advancement, and more often than not when you switch positions and you do not enjoy what you are doing, they do not offer any type of resolution to find you a different job. I cannot tell you how many people that are still currently work there are stuck in their position simply because they are not allowed to go anywhere else. The HR department is an absolute joke, good luck trying to get an appointment with them after you email them and they fill you in. And all they're going to tell you is that what you're asking for is out of their realm of duties.

Pros

Some genuinely hardworking and kind people work here Some of the supervisors are incredible and will go to a lot of trouble to help you The work is busy work You can listen to music at work Insurance is Mercycare Dental is Guardian Above average break room Get out of work super early for first shift Go in to work late for second shift 401k match up to 7 percent of your pay Nice facility Regular hours Good amount of vacation that increases the longer you work there Lots of company events

Cons

It's very hard to get in contact with HR The default in the room is standing desks Getting sitting accommodations is unnecessarily difficult The work atmosphere is very negative Morale is very low Mandatory overtime can be announced as little as a half hour before it starts Some of the supervisors are not supervisor material and let the position get to their heads despite their lack of skill Upper management seems out of reach Cannot carry your phone with you in the work room Overtime can be overbearing Super early start time for first shift Super late end time for second shift Corporate seems to be living in a different world The room is very dusty and can be very bad for allergy sufferers
