Awful company full of lies, ran by liars

Pros

Lots to do if you're an HR person willing to write fake reviews, or part of the legal team staving off lawsuits for not fulfilling promises the out of control good ol boy sales team makes between drunken trips with the CEO

Cons

I mean just look at the clearly fake 5 star reviews and what they scream-insist constantly from reviews with the only "con" being that they love working too much, golly gosh! methinks the lady doth protest too much. DSI management is desperate to seem like they care about employees, because they know they haven't shown it - the CEO and other execs take yearly Aruba vacations on the company fine and then come back and tell us that they "have" to lay off some of our best devs because the economy. DSI management is desperate to seem like there's strong, settled direction because any person you ask on LinkedIn who currently works there will tell you they have no effin clue what their job is going to be next week, let alone month or year. And does a company that has a strong direction get sued for not delivering on their main product, Cloud Inventory? I...don't think so. DSI management insists that their job is a "career builder" and "a stepping stone" because they know they pay FAR below industry standard, even limited to KC, even adjusted for/before the pandemic. And they know the only chance of getting a raise is moving to a different company (which I did, and my pay doubled - DSI cares though!) If DSI was half the company they pretend to be in the exec suite, they wouldn't have to post weekly reviews that no person would ever actually write - the company would speak for itself. They wouldn't have massive turnover. They wouldn't constantly be hiring for basic positions. DSI is a company of narcissist's insisting everything is fine while everything burns down around them, because they know if stuff really falls down they can exploit the employees one more time to get out whole themselves.

Pros

You get paid on time

Cons

This place is nutty. Very poor leadership. Avoid altogether or start looking for new work on day one.
