We appreciate the contributions you made to DataBank during your tenure here. The Data Center Technician (DCT) role can be one of the most demanding roles at DataBank as you are on the front lines every day delivering the best customer experience in our industry. But it’s also one of the most heralded roles at DataBank: our 2022 annual holiday episode of Keymaster – our company-wide trivia game show – was dedicated to our DC Ops organization and featured DCTs as contestants. And it’s why we’ve tried hard to make it one of the most rewarding roles at DataBank as well with dedicated recognition programs, spot bonuses, extensive training and development, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time-off, and new career paths and promotions into engineering and support roles.

None to speak of, limited opportunity here.

Cons

High Turnover and Selling managers/VPs who monopolize the sales opportunities for themselves. Poor training

First, we want to thank you for the contributions you made to DataBank’s carrier accounts during your brief time here. Sales at DataBank is an incredibly demanding role – but also among the most rewarding – for those who are willing to take on the most complex IT infrastructure challenges and do whatever it takes to win and deliver peace of mind for our customers. While some turnover can be expected in any sales organization, DataBank has spent years nurturing and developing one of the world’s best. Over 75% of our reps have been here for more than 12 months, 65% of our sales reps hit their quota this past year, and 2022 was our most successful sales year in the company’s history. With the launch of DataBank University in 2022, we’ve deepened the investment we make in our people, our marketing and channel organization drives a tremendous number of leads to all levels of our sales teams, and our compensation plan is simple, effective, and lucrative. We look for the best of the best and expect a lot of them, but for those who are up for the challenge, the rewards are significant and lasting.
