Pros

Working at DataBank has been an extremely positive experience. The ownership culture here is real—you truly feel like what you do matters, and leadership empowers you to make decisions that have a meaningful impact on the business. Collaboration across teams is strong, and people genuinely care about delivering for our customers. I appreciate how open the development and leadership teams are to feedback. When you raise an issue, they listen, engage, and look for ways to improve. The company has been investing in process improvements, tools, and clarity, and you can feel the forward momentum. It’s also a place where you can grow quickly if you’re proactive and solution-oriented.

Cons

No company is perfect, and DataBank is actively working through some growing pains. Our ticketing system can be a bottleneck at times, but the development team has been receptive to feedback and is already making steady improvements. Another challenge is that some long-tenured team members can be resistant to change. This comes from a place of deep experience, but it can slow progress when new processes or tools are introduced. That said, the culture is shifting, and positive change is happening with more cross-team communication and alignment.
