Pros

- CEO is very direct and can sometimes be seen as harsh. It is just that he has high standards and knows what he wants. Many of us have faith in his leadership and his immediate management team, and believe in the bright future of our company - DataRobot product and customer support teams are best-in-class. We wow our customers with the product's new features and are way ahead of our closest competitors in automated machine learning. We appeal to different types of personas, such as business leaders and analysts, in addition to data scientists - and many customers are passionate about us, you will see them wearing DataRobot T-shirts and having DataRobot swag with them very often - Of course results ultimately matter, but DataRobot has a culture where you are obligated to work super hard and collaborate well with our coworkers. This place is filled with amazing people I like to work with

Cons

- Force reduction because of COVID-19 came as a surprise and upset many good people that were let go. It could have been better managed, and was a major disruption to our ambitious plans. Things seem to be on track now - Constant changes to Go-To-Market plans - pricing, processes, people, partners can really wear customer-facing teams down. It will be good to test new GTM plans on a small scale first before doing a bigger rollout - Some corporate functions will need improvement. HR is overloaded and Finance struggle to deal with exceptions

Pros

Very proud to be part of a company that is extremely socially responsible. CEO, executives and our SMEs are spending a lot of time helping the government to solve the pandemic and carrying out a lot of initiatives. The is company taking massive part of the world crisis. The technology is unmatched in the industry and we are just at the beginning. Strong board members who had successful track records with other start-ups that went IPO and had gone through tough times. Recent focus on personal development is extremely refreshing.

Cons

Lots of management changes but this may be for better. Some of the new leaders are very strong. As the company grows faster and running into Covid, they are trying to contain cost and control expenses. The company should do more PR / Marketing and tell people about how great the technology is and who we are working with more

Pros

- amazing people and culture of open doors. If you really need to talk to the CEO (or other top managers), he will always make himself available even though his schedule is booked weeks and months ahead. - values-driven decisions; we don't publish one value on the website and act differently inside. DataRobot is a company where values were lived for years before they were actually verbalized and published on the website. - rapid development. Management and employees are mostly really mindful individuals and constantly reflecting on their actions and taking actions to improve themselves, company and the processes. Probably reviews from 6-12 months are not 100% accurate because the company is changing very fast. - work super hard culture is really about living your life to its fullest. That's why the company is providing employees with Dream Big (internal self-development program), opportunities to move between teams and departments to make sure that your job is what you're passionate about and you're happy to do what you do. Nobody tracks how many hours you work but people are really passionate here so they would work after hours to make something better, urgent etc. Because they DO CARE about their job, passion, and life. If you're someone with low level of passion - you won't survive here. - Flexibility. The company is really flexible in all meanings - open vacation, unlimited work from home policies. No hours tracking - work at whatever time works for you and your team. - freedom. Lack of structure gives an opportunity to do more, to learn more, to find non-trivial tasks for yourself, and actually to boost your career. Now DataRobot is grown enough that we do need more structure. But we're doing it wisely, not to lose our flexibility. - People, people, people. Opportunity to learn from and work with great people. - Amazing product. - Strong management personality, inspiring candid CEO. - All offices are treated as one team, no primary and secondary offices.

Cons

- Lack of structure and guidance sometimes. - We say we are flat but we really aren't anymore :D - Culture in which you always have a sense of urgency. Definitely not for everyone. You need to be cool with your time, relaxation skills, and self-management to succeed.
