Pros

World class sales on-boarding and enablement Learn how to outbound properly

Cons

Very Clicky (AppD) As an AE, you are given like 10-20 accounts that have been ran through multiple times and that's supposed to keep you fed ZERO inbound leads, will need to generate all of your business through cold outbounding (they will tell you this is expected, but there's a reason why there's "Lead Generation" roles in companies) Lot of turmoil, turnover and negative perception of the company right now.

Pros

You can meet some really smart engineers.

Cons

Management is a disaster. Totally incompetent people that don't know a thing about AI/ML and how to run the company and sell this product. The CEO is a lawyer who brought a bunch of his incompetent bros from AppDynamics and ruined the company. Go read old reviews about AppDynamics and you will see the pattern.

Pros

I love Datarobot for so many reasons, Datarobot provides many opportunities to grow and learn. This is a great place to develop all your skills. We are constantly surrounded by smart and intelligent people, some of which are top Kaggle winners. There are multiple workshops weekly ranging from coding best practices to how to organize your workflows. If you have a question about Time Series, SQL queries, or null imputation, everyone is a good resource who are more than willing to help. Teams have been extremely collaborative, efficient, and supportive. We work globally a lot with different offices, and everyone is top notch easy to work with and responsive. There's a lot of authentic positive energy. Absolutely no corporate drama. It's mainly a flat org which there is no ego among people. Everyone's door is open and I regularly interact with VPs who are amicable and personable. The corporate culture here is very caring and has done a lot to and have communicated with me almost daily. I have multiple stakeholders ask if I was happy with what I'm doing, is there something more I'd like to do, and what would make me happy? Heck, if I wanted to transition to an entirely different division such as from Data Analyst to Dev Ops, they would make it happen. There's a lot of systems in place to ensure people are aligned to not only to their work goals, but also to their career and personal ones. Lastly, benefits are great. The Health, Life, Dental (even pet) insurance is well-rounded and excellent. Many of the offices have amenities such as bathroom toothbrushes, Snacks, drinks, cold brew on tap, etc.

Cons

I wouldn't say this is a con, but if you don't put in the time and effort to work hard you really aren't going to thrive. As other reviews have stated, just biding your time and doing the minimum, it's unlikely you will stay long if you insist a strict 9-5. Everyone here works hard and is willing to do what it takes to get things done. We don't drop our work at 6:00pm because it's time to clock out. Everyone works as long as it's needed to hit a deadline. It's not a fit for everyone, but it's not really a con either, it's just the work culture and nearly all of us enjoy it.
