Pros

DataRobot is a close knit community that is addicted to getting things done. I've never been a part of a team that works this hard; it's inspiring to say the least. DataRobot listens to their employees -- so much to the point that the CEO reviews friction points of employees every single Saturday. I came to DataRobot to be challenged; it's been fantastic so far.

Cons

I work a lot. I work on Saturday. I work on Sunday. I work early mornings and late night.

Pros

The people are phenomenal. So intelligent and inspiring to work with. Some of the best of my career. The product is very strong. Top tier clients.

Cons

In less than four years, I have experienced: --Three CEOs --Four CMOs --I don't remember how many sales leaders --Four massive layoffs, one that was blamed on COVID without merit This place is a revolving door of employees, and I don't see that stopping anytime soon. Two mammoth layoffs just this year with the result being that really good people who haven't already left are looking for new jobs. I've never worked at a place with such massive turnover. When I think of how many fantastic people have come through the company and just been shoved out the door, it's really sad. So many people should still be here who really believed in the company and had the right vision. DataRobot is a case study in mismanagement. I have faith in some of the new leadership team. The new CEO is excellent but as one other reviewer said, a CEO cannot run the whole company. There are still some toxic people who are only interested in promoting themselves at the expense of others. This happens all the time. Someone comes in, plants their stake in the ground, declares themselves to be the next savior of the company and they're gone in less than a year, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. You are no longer hiring the best of the best people. Strategy changes every six months but that makes sense when you keep firing your team. If you worked at DataRobot, you have war stories unlike most other jobs. You had great people and one of the best AI products. I don't know how you can screw things up this badly.

Pros

There are a lot of smart and passionate people who work at DataRobot and the software is really great.

Cons

I'm only going to speak to specific things that I've seen and leave out editorial comments. Exec level leaders have gone around the organization saying that certain people "suck" at certain aspects of their job. On a company-wide call the CEO promoted "shaming" employees as a method of motivation even after being presented with alternatives. Leadership has made strong directives to change the way employees do their jobs without asking questions and understanding why certain things are done. There are ~16 core company pillars, the one that is, by far, promoted the most is "Work Super Hard" and leadership will brag and promote about working 70+ hour weeks.
