Hyper growth (doubled headcount last year) means many opportunities CEO cares deeply about keeping people happy & productive Deliberate focus on driving responsibility and initiative to individual employees (aka flag management structure) Free food (breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks/beer/etc) Travel opportunities (travel to different international offices is encouraged and common)

Cons

Scaling challenges: some organizational structures still reflect a 20 person startup rather than one with 20x that many resulting in non trivial friction (e.g. the CEO being involved in many individual decisions)

Pros

Amazing culture - they do the right thing always & puts people first - in action, not just word. Being a private company so no unnatural quarterly decisions that drive public corporations. Finally, happy people means happy clients means growing and hiring more happy people

Cons

I truly have to reach to think of anything negative to say here.There were some earlier complaints about healthcare coverage, but our providers are being upgraded!

I have never been more proud to work at a company. DataRobot truly cares about both its clients and employees. The company is passionate about client success and has a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment where every employee is valued. Amazing people. Culture is set by a strong tone at the top. Executive leadership is fully bought in to the values of the company and leads by example.

Cons

Having so many great people can make it difficult to provide opportunities for everyone that is qualified to move up in the company.
