Strong company, great place to grow
Pros
- Company has a set of strong and very innovative leaders. They are great at problem solving and have a strong sense of empathy and care about doing the right thing by the employees. Times when I have been very sick, times when I have had family issues, they have been there and gone above and beyond to help. - The product is amazing to work on. It has grown a lot in the past few years to cover most aspects of the data tooling world, so there is something for almost everyone. Enterprise and Cloud sides of the business as well. - On an individual level, engineers here tend to be smart and work very hard. I've rarely seen a group stay focused and ship like this team does.
Cons
- If you look to the right and to the left people here are smart and work hard. If you want to be the shiny star, you are going to have to really do some special stuff. That's a con if you want glory, but not a con if you care about the future stock price. - The company is distributed geographically, so don't work here if you are not up for the odd meeting at unusual hours.
