Pros

- Unbelievable technology - game-changing - The right product at the right time - Extremely ambitious and compelling vision from the CEO - Some of the smartest people on the planet - A metrics-driven approach across the entire company - A genuine desire for continual improvement - An environment where you will be tested and stretched - Potential for growth because the company is growing so quickly - hard work is rewarded - A bias towards hiring for experience and results and don't mind paying

Cons

- It's not for everyone - very demanding - The CEO can be a bit autocratic sometimes (but for the right reasons) - A focus on being in the office - not work-at-home friendly - Ambitious goals mean there will never be a time where you get ahead

- Culture is the best of the best. Everyone is willing to help at all times and all employees push themselves to deliver an awesome product. - Awesome free food - Great health benefits - Freedom to work remotely

Cons

It's hard to tell when a new feature is really necessary for a customer or just a picky request of one of our employees.

Pros

The company is growing really fast

Cons

- Nepotism at its peak: lots of lead positions are held by friends of the CEO, who do not have any technical or management experience. - A complete mess: due to the lack of experience of leads often work is not rewarded and some people do not even have assignments to be completed - Micromanagement: everyone has to report whatever they do daily in military style. I was shocked when I heard that sales people have to report all the daily sales call they do. - Unethical: I didn't like the fact the company covers all the "entertainment" expenses of the management during business trips (... especially to Ukraine ... - where DataRobot has offices)
