Pros

Some good people left. God help us all.

Cons

I have no idea what the prerequisites are for hiring senior leadership and if there are, this company doesn't follow them (along with pretty much anything that is ethical and professional). As an executive leadership team they are garbage. They say one thing and do another. They say we're broke, but we spend irresponsibly. They allow for the bullies within their teams to come out and do nothing to stop them. They talk about inclusion and safe spaces, but most likely because we're broken and abused dogs and they don't want our pain being seen to the outside world. Managers here have no power to help us because there is no one to escalate to. The people leader is a monster and so rude and cold. We had a company meeting recently where our CEO took zero accountability for selling his stock and not letting us sell it. We also took a company survey and they basically told us "we'll work on it. Like I said, garbage. It's bad here and I've lost motivation. The people recently laid off were some of the best people I've worked for or have met in my professional career. I'm not perfect but it seems like they got rid of the ones that would speak up for us or do the right thing. That's what narcissists do. Google narcissist and you'll see every executive on the DataRobot leadership team there. Stay away from here, it will break your spirit.

Pros

Great co-workers and like many of them, we are trying to find positives in this company.

Cons

HR has coerced many people to submit positive reviews on Glassdoor to combat the very true negative reviews. This effort is being done to get reviews of the company over 3 stars and more importantly, to get the approval rating of the CEO up over 40%. They are trying to get all the fake positive reviews at the top of the review board. CRITICAL POINT: Make no mistake that this mismanaged company has literally hurt lives, it will set back personal savings and careers for many years due to the recent and upcoming layoffs. The irony......DataRobot is in the business of predicting outcomes - but they did not see this coming?????? Sad and pathetic. The company used Covid as an excuse to clean house, when in fact this was due to mismanagement of the business. DataRobot is forcing people to publicly share that these layoffs were due to Covid, which is not true. This has been planned for at least a quarter or two. Instead of doing the right thing and letting people look for work prior to the layoffs, they let them all go in one day during a pandemic and now many are struggling to find any work. This was orchestrated, very cold and cruel. Here are a few tidbits of what has occurred over the last 5 months: 1. Pricing - EPIC disaster. There have been roughly 8 versions of pricing over the last four years, let alone a couple of versions since Q1 and these are disastrous. 2. Sales people are not getting fully paid on their commissions after closing a deal. This is 100% accurate, they are told to take what they are given. 3. Our top sales producers are jumping ship, I am sure more are to come. 4. Dream BIG program - if you are ok with a company spending millions on a program to help others lose weight over saving jobs - then this is the place for you. Bottomline, this place had great potential. But it is being run into the ground.

Pros

If the founders step aside (or are forced out) this could be an iconic success

Cons

One founder is a bipolar narcissist and the other has been on vacation for the last 3 years.
