Pros
Overall this is a good company to work for & they offer a lot of benefits to their employees. Profit sharing checks, 401K match, health benefits are wonderful. Extensive & on-going training program for all positions within the company. Almost all "team members" (aka employees) were pleasant.
Cons
Mid-level managers who are run by divisional management. Your relationship with your project manager will make or break your job. The so-called David Weekley "culture" was a joke. I always wondered why I seemed to be the only one that get totally hyped up after attending Weekley 101, their 3 day introduction training. I am not sure why this company was named to the Fortune 500 Top 100 Companies to Work For. There is no team here - don't let them fool you. I watched them "part ways" with numerous team members over 3 years without ANY warning. Almost all project managers continuously interview candidates for your type of position right in front of you in the model homes when there is no need for new team members. Warning - these are your replacements. Your success will be entirely dependent upon your project manager. Work for a good one.
