Pros

Good discount, cafeteria and juice bar was great, yoga on the roof was a nice offer. Summer Fridays were a nice perk. The office in TriBeCa was well furnished and decorated.

Cons

Terrible company culture. Tons of gossip and rumors encouraged and emulated by senior management and owners of the brand. Senior Management would make a game out of setting you up to fail. Give you projects without proper training or direction. They would give you more responsibility and tell you that you were being tested to see if you were good enough. Our manager never said good morning or good bye at the end of the day. She would pick favorites and then sit at her desk and whisper about the other employees in the room. Our manager would send nasty and unprofessional emails when you would show up five minutes late or if you took a full hour for lunch. Most days the gossip and whispers would last 8 hours with little focus on the success of the brand.

Pros

If you're one of managements favorites you'll love it and get away with anything. The pay is good if your in a flagship store or a high volume store. However, the business is slow and people argue over clients, even when it's clear it's your client.

Cons

Management is very lost! I witnessed a roller coaster of emotions from various managers that should have not been in management. The product breaks easily and I hated standing behind a product that broke so easily and selling it to customers. People were dropping like flies that worked there. Every day it was a new exit from cooperate. If you want a answer from cooperate you can forget about hearing anything anytime soon. I've worked in luxury retail over 10 years and never witnessed such behavior from its employees. The brand needs to learn what luxury is and put it into motion. The sad thing is the people that work in these stores believe they are giving great luxury service. The operations management was not great either!
