Pros
Excellent benefits, unheard of 401K plan where employees are fully vested on day 1. I've worked other places where you were not vested until year 3. Excellent opportunities for advancement and recognition for hard work, casual atmosphere, compensation is higher than most everywhere I've ever worked. BCBS plan costs me nothing for my entire family, also unheard of. Management, even up to the CEO operates with an open door policy and provides the freedom to communicate issues when they arise, which is important to them and encouraged. They don't stand over their employees, micromanage or count the minutes you are late back from lunch. There's a freedom that makes it nice to come to work everyday.
Cons
When I first arrived here, I noticed was that many employees had a sense of entitlement and attitude almost like spoiled children. I couldn't understand why they were so disgruntled while working in such a nice environment, but then I realized that it was probably because many of them had not worked anywhere else and had nothing to compare Davidson Technologies to. Many times these spoiled employees got their way, which is frustrating to an employees who quietly does their job without expecting any thanks beyond a paycheck.
