Pros

Great benefits/perks Individual Team Leads are great to work with Great Team members People Team is great to work with

Cons

Leadership above the team leads can be confusing about overall direction. Seems to be multiple directions sometimes and clarity is not a strong suite recently. Will do the dance of dance when asked direct questions about possible future.

Thank you so much for your honest feedback, and I appreciate your positive comments on our benefits, our team leads, team members, and the People Team. I also appreciate your candid comments about the lack of clarity on the company's direction. I will pass along this feedback to our senior leaders and Leadership Team. Good luck in your future endeavors!

Pros

You will work with some really amazing people.

Cons

All of those amazing people may eventually be fired or laid-off and the company may say it was for performance reasons or etc, but if you really know those people and work with them, even you'll know that's farfetched and each day you will be wondering if you are next. Daxko definitely has a motto, hire slow and fire fast. They've fired people that have dedicated their lives to the company for years in an instant. They lack transparency. They want to be "the most loved" by their customers but it seems to come at the sacrifice of treating their own employees like they are expendable. They have hired and fired left and right, letting go some amazing people that have been with the company x amount of years, doesnt matter if you joined 7 years ago or 7 minutes ago no one is exempt. If you work here, you may be gambling with your career. My sincere advice, look elsewhere. If you interview and something seems off, trust yourself. This company used to be great and used to mean something, but from an employees perspective and opinion, its almost unrecognizable. The only word I can think of is disappointed. Extremely extremely at a loss for words for the pure disruption this company has caused in some of their employees personal lives this year. There are far better opportunities in the world with better transparency, and greater leadership. If you are undecided, trust your instincts. I imagine a generic response will appear below to counter this review, you can choose to drink from the fountain, or not.

Generic response incoming! Thank you so much for taking time to leave this very thorough review, and for your kind words on the amazing people we have working here at Daxko. I also appreciate your frank feedback on what we could be doing better. We want to be the most loved by our customers and team members alike, and we recognize the great talent we have in Birmingham, Houston, Denver, and now Chicago and across Missouri. None of our business decisions are impulsive; rather, they are thoughtfully and thoroughly considered, and there are some decisions that are never easy to make but are necessary to grow. I hope you are enjoying what you're pursuing in your career now! Know that you can always reach out to me personally if you ever want to share more feedback. -Janna

Pros

Daxko has all you could ever want. It certainly intrigued me! From free health benefits, free Friday lunches and abundant bowls of fruit to endless and multiple choices of cold beverages. The office environment his hip and there are a lot of really nice people that work here. The People Team should be your Sales Team.

Cons

But does that matter? Integrity is questionable. The motto is hire slow, fire fast as well as to hire cheap and young. They have even let some really valuable employees go lately making me fear my own job security. If you want to last here for a long time- look elsewhere. And while all may seem peachy on the outside looking in, it is really quite a hostile and toxic environment with a lot of backstabbing and passive aggressive behaviours of passing blame or throwing others under the bus. The lack of maturity amongst the workforce makes it seem like romper room at times. Nothing has been the same since we got new investors. We've been sold out.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review; we learn a lot from both the positive and negative feedback we receive, so I really appreciate your candor. People often cite that our hiring philosophy is "hire slow, fire fast," but I'd like to explain what this means. Hire slow means we're careful to find the right person for every open role, and this often means taking time to conduct several interviews. Fire fast means that if someone is not in the right seat on the bus, it's unfair to that person and their team to keep them on board. I'm sorry your experience hasn't been what you'd hoped. As a current team member, please know that you can come to The People Team at any time with any feedback or concerns you have. I truly hope your experience with us gets better.
