Daxko is not a longterm career option for most, but it should be

Pros

- Lower management seems to genuinely care about their employees - Ability to work remotely - Insurance options are pretty good - Promotions are relatively easy to come by (due to turnover)

Cons

- Constant turnover leaves a heavy strain on those who are left - Salary is not at all competitive with industry standards (A consulting firm was hired to do a review on salaries, and employees were told that the results were that Daxko was average to competitive due to other benefits. However, a large number of people who have left, have left for significantly higher-paying salaries/better benefits in similar to identical positions) - Despite doing quarterly surveys, upper management seems to care little about team members

Pros

Good direct leadership for individual contributors. Professional Development opportunities for those young in their careers (depends on if you can take advantage of it from position workload).

Cons

I was given a minor bonus in a paycheck without any notice from leadership to expect it. It should have been warranted after the team I was on, saw our workload increase by nearly 300% from the previous year with the same headcount and better delivery metrics. After checking with my direct lead, they checked on it and told me that the bonus was indeed for me. A month later, leadership in finance reached out to me telling me I had to give it back because it was an admin error and planned on taking it all out of one paycheck. Which, they then docked from my next two paychecks. This wouldn't have been such an issue if the company was transparent about pay (they are not whatsoever), and paid market value salaries. They go so far as to even change the title of a position so it's less valuable on the market (ie. Tech services vs Tech support). I was one of the most respected members of my team and was being paid under 55k. The bonus wouldn't have been as big of a deal if it wasn't nearly 2% of my annual salary as well or literally ANYONE on the exec team reached out to me directly to talk about it. Not a single member of the team ever apologized for the accident. TLDR: Management will try to sweep issues under the rug, owned by Private Equity firms that do NOT care about employee satisfaction or if their employees are making livable wages (aka can comfortably afford a 1 bed 1 bath apt in their area), pay salaries well below market value, an executive team that tries to sell normal business ops as perks (I was told a number of times, a perk it being able to direct message our CEO)

Pros

Daxko is a great place to work for someone looking for a remote job in the tech or fitness industry. Good benefits, good training, etc. Upper management has made a lot of pushes lately to connect with employees and make any concerns feel heard so it does feel like the company is on the right path in many ways. They offer a gym reimbursement and recently added an internet stipend since so many employees work from home. There is also an emphasis on internal hires so if you find yourself wanting to go a different career direction within the company it's often encouraged, which is nice! My job is laid back, my team looks after each other, and the deadlines aren't too rushed.

Cons

My main complaint is simply that Daxko pays lower than many other companies. Also, my experience in this review may not reflect other's experience since it's a ~1000 person company.
