Great co-workers, poor management and business practices

Pros

You will find friends for life as co-workers. Work life balance is good, depending on your position. Fully remote positions are a plus.

Cons

Career pathing is very limited and is not available on all teams yet. Management seems to value acquiring competitors and forcing integration on their platform, then consolidating workers and not raising pay for additional responsibilities. Pay is lower than national averages and good talent leaves because of that. They claim to value customer wellbeing, but they really just value customer money. They don’t always do right by the customer. They got rid of a hiring perk (one-month sabbatical after five years of service) and have a very subpar replacement. Recognition for good work usually only happens when it makes the company money.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re grateful for the years you spent with us and are glad to hear that you built lasting friendships. Your feedback around career pathing, compensation, and culture is being heard. We are actively working to improve clarity around growth opportunities and support systems across teams. Changes like the sunsetting of the sabbatical were not made lightly, and we’re committed to building meaningful recognition programs moving forward. We appreciate your honesty and wish you continued success ahead.

Pros

Other individual contributors are fantastic.

Cons

Leadership is owned by the two private equity owners resulting in squeezing every penny out of their customers - even those that are non profits. Many of the leaders are from a former software company that sold software to car dealerships and want to bring that style to non profits.
