Pros

If you are a millennial- this is your place! It will be like getting to be in your college sorority or frat all over again! I bet they will even have a secret knock and handshake soon! But fair warning- don’t look to learn from mentors and leadership because they won’t know any more than you! Lol!

Cons

Oh, I don’t know —maybe age discrimination? The CEO said it best himself in one of his Friday morning meetings- “we are testing purposely to find those that are young and smart so we can pay them less.” Which is fine for new hires. But firing people and replacing with 20 year olds is age discrimination and is exactly what they have been doing for the last year. With a laughable severance — Daxko makes you sign your life away not to sue the company for age discrimination or post blasphemy on social media sites... dangling a small severance over your head—- don’t sue, and you will get this. Of course most cave because they have kids’ mouths to feed at home. And yes, us employees know because you have fired our friends and they are honest with us and want us to know what kind of company we are working for. Sitting ducks we are- wondering who is next, wishing we had never come here, and hoping we can find something else before we are the next to go. Do yourself a favor, no matter how bad things are in your current position- this place is so much worse. Bad products, treating customers badly and only worried about the bottom line, That’s Daxko!

Hi! No attorneys or PR team here, but you're right about me responding with kindness. I appreciate you taking the time to leave this review and for sharing your frank feedback. If a company doesn't have both positive and negative reviews, I'd worry about its credibility! We don't try to hide the negative reviews, and the former and current team members who make positive comments here on Glassdoor aren't bribed to do so. You're right - Daxko is a great place for Millennials and Gen Z'ers who are just starting out in their careers. We have more than these age groups at Daxko, though, and we welcome hires from all backgrounds and experiences. I also want to address your comment about treating customers badly, because that's not who we are as a company. We treat customers with fairness and respect and will always do so. I hope your experience here at Daxko gets better. Please know that you can come talk to me anytime, in-person, via email, or on Slack. I'm not a leader, but I'm a listener, and I'd love the opportunity to learn more about your comments above. -Janna

The cake is a lie

Pros

Good benefits: drinks, snacks, lunch on Friday, free medical insurance, professional development reimbursment

Cons

Daxo is all about culture and transparency. I heard those words so many times I started to feel brain washed. I wanted to believe in the company, the ideas, the training, the culture...but in the end I felt it was a lie. They preach diversity and inclusion, but if you don't fit their idea of how a person should act, you aren't included. You have to be a happy, bubbly person to fit in. What is diversity if not including those who are not like you? Even if you do your job well and work hard, if you don't fit the image they have in their head, you will be fired. And they will find a reason to make it look like it is for cause. I saw people doing silly things (and hating it) because it was expected and they wanted to try to fit in and keep their job. I think this may be a good job for someone just out of college who doesn't expect to get paid a lot For serious professionals, steer clear. If you go for an interview, make sure you would want to be friends with everyone you see. You might fit in and like it. Otherwise, leave. One last thing - Just because the CEO has a weekly meeting and talks about the company's financials and takes questions does not mean he is being transparent. He dodges the hard questions and makes everyone think they heard the truth.

Thank you for your honest review. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, because let's face it, sharing this stuff isn't pleasant or easy. Thanks for your positive words about our benefits and perks! Diversity, inclusion, and transparency are all important to us. We don't expect team members to act a certain way to 'fit in'. Take it from me - I don't like acting silly in front of people and often don't. You won't see me participating in Lip Sync Battles or Talent Shows. Regardless, team members aren't judged for not participating in company-wide activities. The team members who do participate aren't forced. I wish you the best in all your future pursuits! -Janna

Pros

When you join Daxko you're trusted and challenged to grow immediately and incessantly. In the almost 3 years I've been here I can't overstate how much I've developed and whether my future continues inside our outside of Daxko, I am definitely the better for it.

Cons

If you are just looking for a J-O-B you will likely not be happy for long at Daxko. It's not a place of stagnation or routine. Things can change at the drop of a hat and you have to be willing operate under controlled chaos at times. It's a very rewarding place to work, but you definitely can't just go through the motions.
