Pros

None, none, none, none and none. (had to have a minimum of 5 words in this section).

Cons

Now it is all about money! Labor is being transferred to the Philippines and Mauritius, No matter what US employees do it is never good enough. People are getting fired to save money. One employee may have to do the job of 3 individuals with no additional pay. If you want to grow within the company Ceridian doesn't look at qualifications or job performance. Promotions are done based on what director you are sucking up to or what manager is your relative. There is a local director who has created positions such as "Incident Manager" to place her personal friends and family friends. In case you want to know, at Ceridian an incident manager is an employee who takes 3 hours lunches and goes shopping for hours with the director who gave him this job. All the "awards" Ceridian claims they have won, like best place to work, are not true. The values this company represented in the past have disappeared. What a shame.

Demoralizing spiral into the abyss

Pros

Product first company with tangible benefits such as WFH, work/life balance on most teams, and a concept of focus Fridays where you are supposed to get stuff done and not be on meetings all day. Some great people work at this company. Big focus on liberal politics and DEI if that's your thing.

Cons

Leadership has a vision, but lacks the ability to execute on said vision. Focus on rapid, high growth, but no foundation. House of cards waiting to fall. Company has been in a steady decline culturally for about 3-4 years. Processes are constantly being revamped without adequate communication, resourcing to support the change management. I can't even imagine trying to start as a new hire and understanding the most basic concepts. Major brain drain from reorganization happening almost quarterly. In 5 years at the company, I reported to 12 different people, and I've seen entire teams quit. Quietly laying off highly tenured employees in favor of moving work offshore to save money. Culture is extremely negative and cynical on most teams. People act like they are doing you a favor if you ask for anything from their teams. Just generally a toxic atmosphere to work in with constant political jockeying across all levels.

Pros

Fantastic Product. Market leader without a doubt

Cons

Decline started in 2018. From that point one by one they removed the best leaders Ceridian ever had and replaced them with people with no relevant experience in this space. The culture was ruined. Trust, autonomy and true leadership all diminished. An entire segment turned over including front line managers. High performing reps were fired without cause. Completely unqualified individuals running what was one of the best companies to work for.
