      Pros

      Good work - life balance Ever changing field, products and services constantly evolving Incredible coworkers Benefits (especially vacation) are very good

      Cons

      Only way to get decent salary increases are to leave company and then come back Bonuses are way too sporadic Exec Management seems to make decisions via dart board Recent trend of outsourcing out of country makes everyone nervous

      Unhealthy reliance on Six Sigma and other trendy tools Ineffective VP-level leadership Reactive management style Unhealthy fascination with GE-style management Morale and needs of middle managment completely ignored Little employee involvement in major decisions in which their input would be helpful

      It USED TO BE a great place to work

      Pros

      The benefits were good, work/life balance was great. When districts were managed locally, management was great.

      Cons

      Too much talent was let go: 1) at the expense of trying to move everyone to a Center of Excellence. 2) to save a few bucks (short sighted), Ceridian lost local contact with the customers. Ceridian did not value employees experience, knowledge and loyalty.
