Pros

The family running this particular motel in the chain are wonderful, considerate, thoughtful people. They accommodated my disabilities for as long as I was able to work. They run a clean, respectable motel on a tight budget at very reasonable prices. They treat their guests with respect and courtesy. They taught me so much about the hospitality industry as well as business management. They treated me like family. They even provided transportation for me when I was unable to drive.

Cons

Toward the end of my employment, the shift I was used to and needed had to be changed. There was no room for growth which would have been incentive, but understandable, since it is a family-run business.

Honestly aome of my coworkers were the only pros and they are mistreated as well.

Cons

Too many to list, I am filing complaints with Department of Labor and anyone else who will listen. I have 3 employees that had same experience and texts messages to prove the horrible treatment of hotel staff.

The downtown Baltimore location offered some of the best benefits I've ever had.

Cons

High turnover is a problem. Mostly due to lower than average pay but there is also a problem with management forgoing proper training in favor of micromanaging staff. Also, being that it is a small business there aren't any opportunities to advance.
