Pros

Innovative company shipping fast and solving problems. Cool tech, solid engineering chops, substantial compute resources. Great people to work with and great incentives to work there.

Cons

Structure around remote-first work is evolving as company scales. Must be a motivated, flexible, and independent to be successful.

Pros

Deepgram is a fun and flexible place to work (and the swag is nice too). People are excited about their work and care about their teammates. It is a great place to learn things you didn't even think you wanted to learn about (like language!) and a great place to show off your skills and carve a niche for yourself. There is a ton of room to grow and expand especially because so many things are still flexible and not 100% set in stone.

Cons

The company is young and things can be chaotic, overwhelming, amorphous or poorly defined, and difficult to figure out what exactly is next or what you should be doing in terms of what is best. It can be difficult to learn and find knowledge especially with an entirely remote team. But, a lot of the cons are related to the youthfulness of the company and its quick growth - or in other words, start up life. If you love it, it can be great.
