Pros

Incredibly brilliant people, bleeding edge technology, revolutionary product, and every voice is heard (but be prepared to be challenged!). The work is engaging but not overwhelming - intense, but without impinging on work-life balance

Cons

Not for the weak of heart - this is a "roll up your sleeves and let's figure it out together" environment.... fortunately, there is a high degree of competence and the members of the team all work well together

Pros

Deepgram has assembled an amazing team. Everyone is focused on doing the best things to move the company forward, not on their own ego's. When we have run into challenges, as any startup will, its great to see people working together to find solutions. In environments like this, you can gain confidence that we will always get better and won't repeat mistakes. Our product is also differentiated in a way that will be difficult for other platforms to catch up to. We are in a position where our technology is flat out better than offerings from Google, Amazon, and others, and if we continue to execute there are great times ahead.

Cons

The company is growing super quickly during covid times, which has made meeting all of the new folks difficult. We've done team events but cross functional social interactions are super important while everyone is working from home.
