Pros

- Great product, actually saw full potential in the product - Competitive salary - Smart teammates, most people are truly there to help you - Good benefits

Cons

- Upper management doesn't do much to keep employees in the loop on both product roadmap decisions, but also on hiring decisions. We were constantly changing plans with no reason to back them up, at least not communicated - They hire leaders and directors with no leadership skills, and do not involve potential direct reports in the hiring decision. They only look at past qualifications and company names of hired leaders but don't see if the manager hires are a personality fit to help their team feel empowered or grow on their career path -- and act surprised when turnover is high on these teams. Yeah, it's great that they helped ABC company scale, but at what cost? Did you consider if they would be a good fit for your team? If they had the best interest of individuals in mind? A leader is only as good as their entire team is. - Micromanaged

Deepgram has some really fantastic technology that solves large scale problems. The team is very bright and solution oriented. The market moves really fast and there's never a shortage of interesting challenges or things to work on.

Cons

Deepgram is a great place to work, there's always pains with companies that are growing.

Pros

- Unlimited DTO - Nice people outside of management

Cons

- Directionless. Leadership is either unwilling to communicate vision/direction or truly have no idea what they're doing day to day. - Agree or go. Unless you completely agree with the Executive team, and specifically the CEO, your days are numbered.

We definitely have things we need to improve in regards to our internal communications. This was raised in our Fall engagement survey and something we’ve been actively working on. The market has changed dramatically in the last couple quarters and we are shifting to respond to new technologies and to meet our customer needs. We take this feedback seriously and are dedicated to ensuring we do better to communicate our vision and how we’ll get there.
