Pros

The money and the view

Cons

I worked here for about 5 months and it was the most toxic, unpleasant work environment. My shift lead was lazy, rude, had zero standards or consistency, had the biggest attitude and could flat-out not handle the work without freaking out about minor things. The kitchen was poorly managed. It was deeply embarrassing and stressful to work here. The location itself is run so poorly and overall morale was terrible.

Pros

I got to work at Comerica Park and see the working atmosphere around Baseball

Cons

Be prepared to work because at this job you don’t get a break honestly, you have to make a few seconds or minutes to get one. You’re continuously on your feet, on hard concrete floors the managers refuse to put some type of rubber mats down on and there’s no where to sit. We work through the late spring and summer so some people pass out from what I’d say is a mixture of heat exhaustion plus the “meal” they give us as “lunch.” I wouldn’t call it that cause we literally have to scarf it down because now they expect the workers to eat it before the games. They only give their employees a meal ticket that consists of one Ballpark hotdog, small bag of lays potato chips, and a courtesy cup of whatever soft drink/water you’d like. To majority of everyone that works there this isn’t even something that can be eaten everyday. All of the other food is priced extremely high and even as workers we’re still expected to work around food and and pay full price for it. Bottled water is $5+ so just think of that as far as pricing goes.
