Lack of competitive pay/benefits/holidays/PTO. The work/life balance can be good or bad depending on who is managing you. Working remotely can often be frowned upon - again depends on who is managing you. Anyone with a decent resume typically jumps ship after a few years and talent is typically not retained. This is obvious with hiring as it is not uncommon for new employees to leave after a few weeks or days. Managers often have issues with trying to fill positions. Upper management has had a third party review staffing/compensation and performed an employee engagement survey since I have been employed. The common themes of these projects was lack of competitive pay/benefits and understaffed. Despite this being clear to upper management, they refuse to do anything about it. Company is extremely cheap. Raises are difficult to come by and salaries/bonuses have been frozen the past few years. Management refuses to get rid of bad employees but unwilling to retain good ones. Onboarding and training is the worst I've seen. Complete lack of communication organization-wide.
