Great people to work with, but they are getting run off

Work, lots of work to keep you busy.

Cons

Low pay, and if you complain they start looking for ways to get rid of you. Crappy middle managers who they won't get rid of, but either run people off or hire some of the most incompetent people on the face of the planet. HR from Hell, out of 66 people in HR, only 6 are not Director level or higher.

Horrible company to work for in the long term, good for early experience then leaving.

Good early experience, rapid turnover means high potential for promotions

Cons

Horrible management, at every level. Management strategy of doing bare minimum required to run units results in an unsafe work environment and the expectation of 12+ hour days (with no compensation) every time a unit is down results in 3500+ hours per year worked.

Pros

Refinery work is very hit or miss - if you have a ethical leader for your business team then it will be a very good experience. Benefits package is good with stock given every year. Bonus is almost never much of anything except for Refinery leadership.

Cons

Lots of poor management and unethical behavior. You can either 'do no wrong' or you are a 'problem child'. Say one thing but do another. Salary discrepancies for wome that work in the same positions or with same responsiblities as their male counterparts.
