Pros

Zero - you get discounted wine but it's low quality so not the wine you want to be drinking anyways.

Cons

Too many to list but the phrase, "the fish rots from the head down" is very applicable to this company.

There is a lot to unpack here and the feedback is not clear. We're sorry that Delicato was not the right fit for you, and we genuinely believe that this post is inaccurate and does not reflect our culture. If you are willing, I would love to hear from you directly. Feel free to email me at marcel.rodrigue@delicato.com

Pros

If you live in the central valley, it's a good location. That's pretty much it.

Cons

Management does not take care of it's employees. Pay is completely below industry standards-they try to be an "elite" brand but do not employ the "elite"-it's whoever they can get at the cheapest price, and quality of the wines reflect that in my opinion. No room for growth. Middle-management like the new h/r and plant director are prime examples-between the two depts hardly a lick of industry wine knowledge-how does that look during a TTB audit? That's shameful for a company trying to make itself known in the high-end marketplace.

Pros

Family owned company with good benefits

Cons

Not competitive with salary and overall culture and trust in management has been deteriorating for the past few years. Management says they are working on it, but fail to recognize the actual issues

Although we are sorry to hear your feedback, it’s still important for us to know how others feel. We regularly review our compensation to ensure we remain competitive in the market and are confident that we are where we need to be. Keep in mind that we are a growing company and with growth comes growing pains. Our people are Delicato’s biggest asset and as a team, we’re learning we need to keep collaborating, communicating and cooperating on all levels – and across all areas -- of our organization.
