      Pros

      friendly, relaxed environment with lots of personal development opportunities. Also, the social side of things are good. Gym, leisure centre, social club. All good.

      Cons

      little time from management. No praise or encouragement. If times are bad the hard working guys are first to lose out.

      Exposed to the latest trends and aspects of computer technology. The latest ideas and concepts are being passed along and trained in the computer market.

      Cons

      The sometimes lack of productive and reliable tools that we need to use to make our jobs easier. The company needs to let us technicians manage our tasks and sometimes to be productive and allow us to be true computer system consultants and system analysts.

      Pros

      Dell gives you alot of freedom and the tools to build your business. As Long as you make your number you dont get to much grief. If you dont make your # start looking for a new job asap. Sometimes you dont have alot of contol over your quota and how realitic it is in terms of the current economy. Essentially Dell as a company doesn't want to hear excuse. They want to get paid.

      Cons

      Way to many assigned accounts. Unrealistic quotas. My manager has 36 direct reports. As a result he can't manage people or the business he can only manage for exceptions (meaning you dont want to get on anyones radar). I wish the job market was better so i could quit.
