Pros

provide resources for nursing staff, like clean towels and linens. Nice facilities (i.e. dining room, shower rooms)

Cons

being understaffed places undue stress on nursing staff; more support from administration is needed

Pros

Absolutely nothing if you truly value integrity and providing compassionate care!

Cons

It all starts with Gabe Grossberg, the owner! He is all talk in his promotion of Delmar Gardens as a Family like company. The only thing they care about is money! COVID-19 is running rampant through their North and Meremac valley facilities! Coorporate greed resulted in very limited PPE. Gabe Grossberg forces his companies (Corum Pharmacy, Med Resources, Pathways Hospice and Palliative Care, Home Services etc) to use one another at a marked up cost. ( sounds like extortion to me) The Nursing facilities have limited PPE because he forbid them to order on the free market. If Med Resources can’t obtain needed PPE or durable medical equipment, staff and residents suffer. Front line staff are underpaid, under staffed, and severely under appreciated. The facilities themselves are dirty and full of black mold that is ignored. Why the facilities don’t get immediate jeopardy tags from the state amazes me. It’s as if the state turns a blind eye to everything Delmar touches. Why is that? Why aren’t they forth coming with information on COVID-19 in their buildings? Why do they try to bend and find loopholes in DHSS “recommendations”? Why do the MDS coordinators inflate coding to gain unethical and false reimbursement from Medicare? Why don’t they offer better health insurance benefits to front line staff? Why don’t they offer extended sick bank to employees who contract COVID-19? Someone with power in Missouri needs to wake up and punish this evil corporation!
