Pros

Good culture, great people, fun environment

Cons

I left for health issues and my mother being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, I was in good standing with the company, they told me I could reapply and come back to work no problem when everything was figured out. I have since applied numerous times only to be told I did not have the correct qualifications.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We have had several employees who left Delta Defense for other opportunities and have been rehired. We always seek the most qualified candidates for every opening we have available at that time. I obviously can't speak to any details about why you haven't been rehired yet given that I don't know who you are. We hope you and your family are doing well. In addition we appreciate the time that you spent with us an employee, and that our culture was important to you.

Pros

Fast paced and decent benefits

Cons

If you don't drink the kool-aid, you'll be weeded out. The Oh Sh!t meetings are a joke.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Our current employees have told us, in surveys that they value our OS!M weekly meetings. These meetings cover a weekly business update, department information and celebrations, and the mental health minute segment. Just earlier this year, we launched a new meeting format that is packed with current topics that our team members want to know. We hope that you have found the right fit for you with another career opportunity, since your departure from Delta Defense. Thank you.

Pros

Company is good, great benefits. They mean well but are growing rapidly and have a lot of growing pains. The training was partly beneficial, I was really upset and horrified that everyone in the field says to just “forget everything you learned in training”. They don’t teach the important things, and make a big deal on things you change completely in the field and it felt like hazing more than anything. Be prepared to not see your family and to have a lot of people not have direct answers to problems. But if you need to work with corporate employees, they are great.

Cons

Misalignment of values and job duties from the top down

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. From our Outside Sales Director: Delta Defense takes pride in having the best Sales Team in the business and much of this success comes from our commitment to continued personal and professional development. When a new Account Executive joins the organization, they participate in a one-week orientation and subsequently attend a one-week virtual training course followed by a one-week on-site training course at our headquarters in West Bend, Wisconsin. The training at headquarters is to make sure our Account Executives have the foundational knowledge to then continue to build upon once the Account Executive completes training and is operating within their territory. Every state and region and its nuances and it is important for Account Executives to incorporate the local needs within their selling approach. This includes adding your personal touches to what our Learning & Development Team provided in the initial training. As with any new skill, it will continue to improve as you continue to grow and learn. The primary work hours for Account Executives are nights and weekends and we understand that can be a challenge. We do our best to clearly articulate expectations during our interview process and in regular coaching conversations and ride-alongs with District Managers. One of our core values is “We deal with problems “Head On.” I encourage you to share your feedback and solutions in an upcoming skip-level meeting with your Regional Manager or an upcoming CEO or CSO chat. I will also be conducting sessions across the country with Account Executives and I hope you take me up on the opportunity to connect. Thank you for being part of Team Delta Defense.
