Employee-focused culture. There is a lot of top-down attention on ensuring Deltek is and remains a great place to work, with a structure to ensure high-performance is recognized and rewarded. Employees truly love what they do and who they do it for. There is a lot of enthusiasm internally for our products and innovations, as well as close contact with our customer base. It's an easy place to feel good about what you do every day. There is an ongoing commitment to remote work, while also ensuring there is space and opportunity for close, in-person, collaboration. This is great because it allows us to seek out the best talent nationally and internationally. Great benefits overall,

Cons

401k matching contribution is low. Surprising, because this is a great tax-advantaged benefit for both employee and employer. Plus, it incentivizes retention. Silos. The company has made progress, but there are parts of the organization that resist collaboration, and by extension innovation. There are too many teams "doing their own thing their own way" getting in the way of right-placing work and responsibility. Lots of duplicative technologies and processes. FlexTime. Paid-time off is not an earned benefit, so people either underutilize (most common) or abuse the vacation policy.

Remote work, good culture, flexible, good people. I really enjoyed my time at Deltek overall. I was certainly just a number at the end of the day, but my team was filled with some great people

Cons

3% 401k match, which is below average, The higher up folks get promoted and move around frequently, If you're in mid-tier role, there is not room for advancement. Below average salaries for Customer Success Managers. Leadership seems to be lacking in direction, they laid folks off based off higher tenure and salary, even if your renewal percentage was much higher. Which doesn't make sense from a financial perspective.
