Pros
I've been impressed by Deltek's committment to creating a positive workplace culture -- whether through career development, benefits, support of philanthropies, resource groups like Women at Deltek, or fun well-living events organized around the world. Activities like the company's yearly bowl-a-thon, March Madness lunches, and participation in Light the Night Walks to raise money for cancer research are what make Deltek more than just a place where I work. On the career side of things, I have frequent development conversations with my manager and am regularly encouraged to seek learning opportunities, whether through attending conferences or webinars, participating in our company mentor program, or more. Benefits like the ability to work remotely on certain days make it easier to juggle career and family. Culture-wise, the company's emphasis on customer focus -- both internally across teams and externally -- is a rallying point and guides how employees are encouraged to treat each other.
Cons
This is both a pro and a con: Deltek is growing and, as a result, things move pretty quickly.
