Pros

Deltek offers excellent work/life balance and truly understands that family comes first. They offer 17 days of PTO to start, and you can purchase an additional 5 days. Their maternity leave enables you to take 6 weeks of paid leave without it counting against your earned PTO. Deltek also has an excellent well-living program that encourages healthy eating and exercise. HQ has a gym available for its employees at no cost.

Cons

* Promotions are run by committee and are not completely at a manager's discretion. Promotions are only every six months unless there is a significant business need. * Health insurance premiums (especially for families) are VERY expensive. * There is minimal cross-departmental communication or process enforcement. People working on one product do not necessarily know what's going on with one of our other products.

Pros

Cool Technology, respected by clients

Cons

Company culture has changed. No longer the friendly and family oriented company it once was. Now is just another company.

Pros

Great benefits package and generally strong work-life balance depending on project assignment. Opportunities to work on complex enterprise systems with talented engineers and exposure to large-scale government contracting environments.

Cons

Management consistency varies, with some instances of favoritism and high ego-driven leadership styles impacting team dynamics. Compensation does not always align with job titles and responsibilities, leading to a feeling of being underpaid relative to market expectations. There have also been unmet or delayed commitments around education reimbursement and professional development support.
