I was impressed with the smooth and organized onboarding process at Deltek, which made me feel welcome and prepared from the start. I received regular updates from HR about my status and the next steps in the process, which helped me feel informed and confident. The onboarding team was efficient and organized, sending me my laptop, bag, and welcome kit on the scheduled delivery date. I was well-prepared for my first day at Deltek, thanks to the detailed welcome email I received three days in advance. The onboarding team went above and beyond to make sure that I had everything I needed before my start date, which made the transition to my new role seamless. I was met with a warm welcome from my manager when I was deployed to my team after two days of HR training. My peer mentor has been a great resource, patiently walking me through the onboarding process and helping me to adjust to my new role. My manager is a true leader, who is passionate about her work and her team. She is inspiring, positive, and always willing to help her team members succeed. I am grateful for my peer mentor's patience and support as I continue to learn and grow in my new role. My peer mentor is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I have the resources I need to succeed. She takes the time to explain processes clearly and concisely, so that I can understand them fully. Deltek offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits, which are two of the things that make it a great place to work. Deltek is an agile company that is always looking for new ways to improve. They offer remote work opportunities and have a culture of politeness and helpfulness, even among employees who are not based in the Philippines. I felt a sense of belonging and strong inclusivity when I met my manager in person during their visit to Manila this year. Meeting my manager in person was a meaningful experience that helped me feel more connected to the company and its culture, especially since I am still a new employee. Deltek offers a variety of monthly engagement events that are always well-promoted by the HR team, so you're sure to never miss one. Whether you want to attend or not is entirely up to you. The perks and benefits at Deltek are too numerous to list, but I'll mention a few of my favorites. The PTO policy at Deltek is very generous, and I appreciate having the flexibility to take time off when I need it. The ability to work from home (WFH) is a great perk, and it's something that I really value. In addition to a competitive salary, Deltek also offers a variety of allowances, which help me to offset the cost of living. If I choose to work on a holiday, Deltek offers a generous 200%. One of my favorite perks at Deltek is Project Nation Day, which gives us the opportunity to work half a day every other Friday. I also appreciate the small things, like free parking or a shuttle to the office, free food, snacks, and drinks. I am eagerly anticipating an event where all Deltek Philippines employees can come together and strengthen our social bonds.
