      Flexible Work Arrangement - out of state offices can CLOSE and employees work from home full-time, but if in DC Metro, this program really doesn't apply to you - really?? CEO says we're done with layoffs - 2 weeks later, another round - can't trust him as far as you can throw him (2 VPs brought in from out of state let go as part of this) No strategic direction other than Sr. Mgmt getting their bonus Stock purchase plan, yet almost zero movement, zero volume - so why bother??

      Pros

      the non-management people are great - outside of work.

      Cons

      no longer family-run or family-oriented. no time/balance between work/personal life. tunnel-vision and CYA in HR and Marketing. Quarterly layoffs. Too many Chiefs and not enough indians, the indians at Deltek are trying to keep afloat.

      The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

      Pros

      Fellow employees, the rank and file, are very good. Commute - Herndon location is excellent Benefits - while they have been better in the past, improvements are making their way back

      Cons

      Senior management seems to have lost sight of most valuable asset - employees Too much emphasis on "numbers" to the detriment of the employees Little job security.
