Pros

This is an incredible place for an opportunity to start a career in San Francisco Tech and sales. The product is sold to the exact demographic it is made for and is not too complicated or difficult to sell. If you can't sell it, you're not trying. It's on a lower level of SaaS sales which makes it a perfect springboard to either a exciting start-ups or a bigger company like Salesforce or DropBox. It also has a great opportunity for management with a great grooming program. If you want to stay a while the path to management is very clear. this can be a very stress-free environment, if you can get to work on time and enjoy selling and talking to people. It's an easy paycheck but don't expect 90K a year your first year even if you are killing it. If you make it more than it is and don't like sales the job will be a nightmare. You make of it what you want it to be. You can either be a delusional Gordon Gekko, Peter from Office Space, or Michael from the office.

Cons

With all companies similar in size and limitations. It doesn't have it old Start-up feel any more now that it is Owned by a much larger global parent company. This is not from a lack of trying for management to keep grasping at a much more exciting and fun time as a start-up. The challenges are similar to other companies like it. You're never going to make as much as you "could". There is a 95/5% split in top producers. It has quick turn around and for some a great reason, it's a feeder to higher paying jobs. And for others it weeds out people who are not fit for the industry. If you can come in on time, have a good attitude, try hard and not get resentful and have overly high expectations you can pull-off and easy 70-75K a year without getting too much micro-management. This is not a place for experienced sales reps or someone with a big ego. Be careful, it is an environment where it is easy to build a reputation and one that can follow you throughout the Bay Area sales community.
