      Pros

      The employee community at Dematic has always been its strongest pull for myself and many of my coworkers in this company. There is a lot of freedom with your time while in the office as long as you are getting your work done and have shown a good quality of work. The direct management team has always been very responsive and great to work with.

      Cons

      Dematic has a tendency to overwork their employees due to high volumes of sales with a lessening pool of workers. Upper management isn't always looking out for the betterment of their ground-working employees, which can be seen by more than a few of their policies. It's also pretty hard to have a good work-life balance when your travel hovers between 30-40%.

      Large Company, Old school, and you're a cog

      Pros

      Decent compensation, 401K, health care, and big company perks like lunches/snacks.

      Cons

      The upper few hold the keys - you're a Cog. This is a position to do a few years in and leverage the name for your future. Everything is run out of Grand Rapids and if you don't show up and wrangle a resource they'll ignore you. Very silo'ed organization and if you are anything lower than middle management, be prepared to be squeezed. Also - rather slow in nearly anything and stuck in the past.
