non traditional hours & days off supervisors try hard to give you the days & time off you request whenever possible

Cons

no career pathing, growth opportunities; all advancement depends on who you know, not what you know; job security is next to none (constant reminders you can be replaced & the pay does not reflect the level of knowledge or professionalism they expect of employees); management communicates as little as possible & only when absolutely necessary with appropriate spin, of course; this company has problems keeping private business & personal matters confidential. Would NOT recommend working here unless you are just passing through & need the job.

-Great for part-time work for students -Decent for tips -Flexible hours, able to work any time to fit your schedule (open 24hours)

Cons

Poor management at some locations. They are usual foreign and have just had a crash course in management, and are many times rude to staff. No raise for servers and FOH staff, only tips.

Pros

When time off is requested my department makes every effort to grant the request. I have non traditional working hours which are a big bonus - this is not available everywhere.

Cons

Management expects us to put up with whatever they determine is best or just leave. They dont solicit or take suggestions about how things are going from the very people who make them happen. Dennys also has a problem keeping private matters private. I have never worked for a company that dared to pull some of the stupid things that this company does.
