Pros

Like many employees I was able to find another job and leave. I came to Denny's hoping to use my experience and skills to make a difference. I quickly realized there is a huge problem with the corporate culture. If you want a paycheck this is the place for you. If you want a career apply to another company.

Cons

(1) the corporate office rewards loyalty rather than competence (2) long tenured corporate office employees have no idea how the Operations Department functions (3) culture of fear and favoritism (4) constant reorganization and terminations (5) employees are scared to speak up.

Pros

Denny's is an established brand with great name recognition. Many of employees have years of experience and want to better use their skills. Employees want to succeed despite lack of leadership and vision. If you can survive at Denny's you can work anywhere.

Cons

Culture of fear, consistent re-organization, senior leadership incompetence, failure to celebrate success, no idea of vision and values, lack of communication from senior leadership, and an organization that rewards the wrong activities. I have worked at two great organizations and know things can be different than they are at Denny's.

Pros

Hybrid office hours is great. The creative team is amazing....that's it.

Cons

Horribly toxic. Leadership ignores problem employees. And very cult like vibes. Creative team is great but everything else about this company is not it. Loved it at first, then things got out of hand. Leadership asks for the impossible. Timeline and requests are unreasonable and unrealistic. Worst than an agency. PTO is horrible. And in order to get more PTO you have to "donate" to get a fraction of hours. Overall, I could highly suggest you stay away. Only the old people from the Spartanburg office are happy in their little bubble.
