Pros
The benefits are pretty good. Health care is provided for free, but if you need to include a dependent then the cost is extremely exorbitant. There is a 401k match. Thursdays are snack days. Each department will now and then have food to share with others. There's a quarterly and monthly employee recognition.
Cons
There is a lot of nepotism and favoritism being its a small company owned privately. Even if you work very hard, family members and close friends will get the recognition and overshadow you. The technology here is very old. Our CRM is not very sophisticated. The conference rooms have Dell laptops from like 2002. Some managers here are unqualified for their role and most likely got it through brown-nosing. Changes happen very slow. Our website is very difficult to use and understand for most of these dental practice staff. The billing system is completely dysfunctional allowing clients to use and get away with not paying for services. Departments don't communicate well with each other.
