Pros

Some great dedicated employees who really care about the people they serve. Decent benefits.

Cons

Upper Management in the O&M Department in particular and "so called" Continuous Improvement have destroyed this organization. The interview selection process is a farce. Some employees are promoted without proper credentials/experience sidestepping job requirements for buddies. Many positions are pre-selected so interview process in many instances is just going through the motions and wasting the time and money of candidates as well as employees. Waste of rate payer money.

Pros

I wore many hats over my years in IT there and had exponential career growth. You get out what you put in. It took 7 years to hit a glass ceiling.

Cons

The environment can be political and work life balance can be an issue if you let it. But it's not an issue if you do your job and keep out of the drama
