Pros
This is a great position if you are in college or a recent graduate that needs clinical experience for medical school or PA school. They do not require any degrees or experience aside from your GED. You also typically work 3, 12-hour shifts a week so you can have long weekends which is nice.
Cons
The pay is average for the position, but does not equate to how much work they will expect from you. This place cycles employees pretty regularly as many of them leave to go to school so they are always asking MAs to train and do not offer proper compensation for it. They are usually short so they expect you to do that work of 2-3 MAs for the day and, again, will not compensate you properly for it.
