the rewriting Trade Profile project is 70% done and they suddenly change looks and views and using old technology Jquery and Ajax combine together with Angular which causes performance issue and security issue. if these changes apply to all the project, then it will rewrite everything which means all previous 70% work wasted and that is about 2 million dollars. they also cheat on Labor Cost Estimate and didn't tell the customer how long it can finish the project, I was fired by posting a LOE message on the group chat saying the technology will cause issue and it will delay the function by 3-5 months, I was fired the next day. as I said, the Export commodity function was scheduled to release on Jan 15 2025 but delayed until June 2025

Although remote is nice, this company will work you into the ground due to a combination of poor planning/deadlines and poor resource allocation. You will get very poorly refined/defined work that requires you to cosplay as a UI/UX designer, product manager, and sometimes even developer (my actual role). I constantly have to work weekends and forgo my actual life for no overtime pay and barely average salary pay. Their response to the salary part will be that they pay on-par with XYZ market standards, but given that you will often be working well over 40 hour work weeks to accommodate poor planning/resource allocation, this is a flat out lie at worst and purposefully misleading at best. It is a tough market so we have to take what we can get, but in my experience this is not a sustainable place to work and I will likely start looking again due to burnout (overworked/underpaid). I've also never had a single meeting with any boss or anything, about anything. They don't care about your career growth or job satisfaction or anything really. You're pretty much just on an island with a crap ton of ambiguous work just being initiated at the last second before a deadline.
